Dr. Qiang Cheng got his Bachelor degree from Sichuan University in 2013. In 2018, he obtained his PhD degree at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Shu-Li You. He then moved to Max-Plank-Institut für Kohlenforschung as a Humboldt research fellow with Prof. Tobias Ritter until 2021. In 2022, he joined Prof. Armido Studer's group at Universität Münster for another postdoctoral research. Since March 2023, he started his independent career at College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences in Wuhan University, focusing his research on organofluorination reactions and photocatalyzed organic transformations. In February 2024, he was recruited as a new PI at Taikang Center for Life and Medical Sciences of Wuhan University.
